Letter to Mr. Javier Perez De Cuellar, Secretary General of UNO .New York. U.S.A.

Sir,

In reference to the seat which you occupy in U.N. it seems imperative to address you in the name of Humanity and for the sake of the safety of humanity which at present appears to be doomed eternally in the flames of the nuclear hell. You are requested to vouchsafe the attention to this letter which judging from its topic is its due. Whatever I have said here or anywhere is utterly, entirely, completely based on knowledge, logic and science, without so much as a vestige of fanaticism, bigotry or superstition.

It is sad to see that no alternative now is left for this mankind, but either to vanish under the hails of atomic bombs suddenly, deservedly or to perish under the stings of radiations of atomic-energy-for-peace, slowly, lingeringly, miserably, also deservedly. No heavens will cry on man’s nuclear destruction, nor will the angels set out to mourn over man’s nuclear affliction, for none but man himself has wronged himself, and indeed knowingly. The punishment is based exactly on justice in the court of nemesis. The emergence of the atomic hell is no haphazard occurrence. It is the logical and scientific consequence of a process working in accordance with the inexorable law of nature. No Reagan-Brezhnev no-war-pacts, or armament cut agreement, or peace treaties will be of any enduring avail, nor even will this universal anti-nuclear movement, of the masses, though natural, be of any real avail, for this being only the reaction of instant fear of loss and suffering. It is no more then an attempt to hiss and shoo away the giant atum bumb by means of slogans and cries, and certainly the monsters will not be shooed away, for it is the destruction of the cause of this appearance only that could bring about his automatic disappearance from the world. This movement in question will result in confusion, ever-increasing confusion, anarchy, ever-increasing anarchy, and rifts, ever widening and worsening rifts between the a people and their governments, all over the world, till the final moment has arrived, and the process has reached its point of explosion. This movement, however, is the beginning of a course in which the people groping their way through this sociao-economico-politico-nuclear labyrinth might fall on the reality, that until the louder causes of the trouble were removed from the way, no possibility was there to shift the course away from the one that leads straight to the atomic hell. The sages of this age, however, and unfortunately, prescribe the apposite remedy. They only advise to add the fuel to the kiln in order to achieve the extinction of the fire. Besides that, the appeals of Einstein’s and Rustles have failed, since those appeals were but sympathetic emotional announcement and were not based on solid logic. They did not pursue the cause of the trouble.

What particular difference would it make to me, if this world were plunged into the atomic hell. And it is a mater for wonder to find a man of my position vexing so over-zealous against the possible nuclear hazards, while everyone else is after personal considerations and material necessities, worldly enjoyment and luxuries. Alas for me, but there must be a reason too pathetic to cancel. It was in the year of 1942, my 25th year, and the fateful year in which Enrico Fermi, the great Italian physicist had opened the gate of atomic hell on this mankind by his successful realization of uranium fission chain reaction in Chicago, that I was assigned the counter mission, the Abrahamic Mission that of warning this world about the atomic hell, and teaching the ways and methods to avoid the nuclear threat, and thus to endeavour to save this mankind from the most painful and the most disgraceful end. At that time I had but negligible knowledge. But thereafter like a man prepossessed I learned languages, literatures, philosophies, sciences and scriptures, like the Quran and the Bible, landed without a school or a teacher and always in circumstances which no Bunyan could find a heart to describe, while no Freud could find a method to subject the method of my intellectual achievement to a psychological analysis. In the year 1982, eventually I brought my work to its completion in the form of volumes which may be listed as follows:-

This indeed is the only guidance to lead this mankind out of the atomic danger. This in fact is the Noah’s Ark in this deluge of universal atomic fire. The name of the Quran may strike as unpleasant to some, yet the fact is that if this mankind has had a glimpse of the terrifying monster, the fiery giant-atumbubm. They would rush it into the lap of the even the devil himself, if refuge were expected therein. It is, however, not the Quran, but science, it is that serves as the criterion of judgment throughout these volumes, a work the like of which it appears to be hard for the celebrities of this age combined to produce, which, I indeed by the grace of God Almighty have produced single-handed and alone. The work which is entirely my own original, excepting the references. The Bible too has had its due share therein, while the Hindu and the Buddhist Philosophers also have received treatment and cited in favour of the basic theme. It is for this mankind now to rescue these volumes from the white ants, for, I have neither wealth, nor property, nor even a house of myself. To rescue this work from the white ants means to rescue the fate of this mankind from the hands of the giant atumbumb. The behavior of this mankind respecting this work will decide the destiny of this world. If this mankind is unable to do anything about it, let this work, I pray, be preserved in some museum, for, may be some future generation involved in acute nuclear misery might perhaps need the light and the guidance contained in these volumes to relieve themselves of the misery.

These most enduring monuments of science which literally cover the entire face of earth would vanish as if by magic wand before the atomic weapons, or they will be left deserted as the memorials of the follies of a race after the extinction of life on earth by the radiations in the age of full-fledged atomic energy.

Pray be witness that I have done my duty of informing you of the situation in your capacity of the secretary General of the United Nations. You are requested to :-

Please arrange for my speech in the second session of U.N.O. against the spread of nuclear weapons which begins on 7th June and lasts upto 9th July. And also to arrange for my passage, for I am unable to bear the expenses. Thus I will have an opportunity to discuss the nuclear problem in details and to point out the methods of avoiding and averting the atomic threat, the methods which no one has in this world as yet broached. That perhaps this world be saved from the seemingly inevitable atomic ruin. There in America I will have a chance also to meet the atomic scientists and radiobiologists and I will be able to show them the possibilities probabilities, and the impossibilities and improbabilities of the atomic science. Also I will be able to meet there the philosophers and the intelligentsia, and will show them the new lines of philosophical thought necessary to avoid the atomic threat. If you do this, it will be a great service to mankind, and God will give you reward for this. May God save this mankind from the dreadful atomic doom. Amen.
