Chapter 1:
BACON'S PHILOSOPHY AND BACONIAN PROGRESS
Today the entire population of this world
follows Bacon's philosophy of modern atomism. And yet a few know even Bacon's
name. A fewer still in this world have any acquaintance with his works. Bacon
(1561-1626), the Lord Chancellor of England, and the founder of philosophy of
modern atomism may be regarded as the devil incarnate, and his philosophy was
the second attempt of the seduction of the devil after the first seduction of
Adam in paradise. Bacon's philosophy is the exact antithesis of revealed
religion. This world alone is its object, as the command of God to Adam. Moral
philosophy according to Bacon is man's persistence in Adam's first transgression
of the command of God not to taste the fruit of the forbidden tree of the
knowledge of good and evil, hence undesirable. Where do the followers of
revealed religion then stand? Some will not believe in my word. They cannot
believe that Bacon or any one could have given such philosophy without being
challenged. I say: I am not playing any conjuring trick upon any one. Let this
beguiled world read Bacon's works, "Advancement of Learning", and "Novum Organum",
and see for themselves. Both these works are extant as yet. Others will take to
explanations, that only a race of doomed people could entertain. If, however,
the Baconian Philosophy is behind the veils, this Baconian progress that has
risen on the principles of Bacon's philosophy is before the eyes of everyone.
Yet the doomed race has been so blinded by the gravity of their impending doom
that in this age of critical analysis, men even of the calibre of Bertrand
Russell have stopped short without ever reaching the actual heart of the
philosophy of this Baconian progress.
I will in the following describe and
analyze this Baconian progress. Every reader is supposed to see for himself the
antitheses existing between the doctrines of revealed religion and the Baconian
philosophy and its Baconian progress. If no one has been able to analyze this
Baconian progress as was the need, and if the men of the calibre of Russell have
failed in this, they are not to blame. None could simply do this. Such is the
maze. I have done it, because my eye has been opened by the supernatural agency
of the Quran, and Remember! I have been assigned Abrahamic Mission and the
Abrahamic Mission of exposing this Baconian seduction to save this world from
the atomic ruin. The Quran and the other revealed Scriptures and science has
been my light. And I have revealed to this world the miracles of the Quran,
miracles which no scientist, and no sceptics could deny with reason. I have been
allocated the duty of exposing the reality to save this world form the atomic
hell which is the logical consequence of this Baconian progress, and I have to
give this world the Islamic Economic System which counteracts the Communistic
Economic System and could save this world from being obliged to fall in the
clutches of Communism, for economic justice. I can be but brief here, therefore
listen if you want to avoid the most grievous, most painful, and most
disgraceful universal end in the burning flames of atomic hell, namely the
atomic bombs and atomic radiations.
THE DOCTRINE OF
BACON'S PHILOSOPHY
(a) Bacon's philosophy is the philosophy
of the attainment of man's dominion over nature through continuous, systematic,
organized research of Science, for material advantage of mankind in general, as
the actual destiny of man and in compliance with the express command of God,
without any regard for the next world, or spiritual or moral factor. Not only
this, but that the moral philosophy is forbidden as man's persistence in Adam's
first transgression of God's command, not to taste the fruit of the tree of the
knowledge of good and evil. Man according to Bacon instead of remaining content
with the pursuit of natural philosophy (Science), took to the pursuit of moral
philosophy merely in order to give himself the law.
Now this is a philosophy as exact
antithesis to every revealed religion. Where do the believers in Christianity,
in Islam, in Hinduism, and in Buddhism now stand. Moral philosophy is the basis
of revealed religion. Natural philosophy is only a secondary necessity. If any
one says we have no connection with this philosophy, and we do believe in the
doctrine of our own religion. We have not so much as ever heard of such a nasty
philosophy, then be sure without any doubt, that you are the follower of this
very nasty philosophy to the letter and in the most practical sense of the word
as a proof of your ignorance. You are all down to your necks in this Modern
progress. This modern progress is based on the very principles of Bacon's
philosophy in deed and in spirit. If any one swallows poison then whether he
knows the characteristics of that poison or not, the poison readily takes its
course and shows its effects.
(b) This modern progress is aimed at the
attainment of man's dominion over nature through science for the material
advantage for mankind in general. It is science-guided. It is systematic. It is
organized. It is continuous. It is ever-increasing and it is infinite. It will
increase occupying gradually more and more of man's mind, time, energy,
activity, and expelling proportionally from man's mind and time, energy and
activity the thought of the other world and religion. And because it is
infinite, it will go on increasing ad-infinitum till it has expelled the thought
of the otherworld and religion utterly, entirely, completely. This process is
not difficult for any one to observe for himself, unless indeed any one is
blinded by the influence of the grievous atomic doom. The result of
science-religion-conflict is before the eyes of this world. How science has
gradually prevailed, and how Christian religion has gradually declined to its
disappearance. And if you think that a break could be applied to this progress
at any desirable point to maintain the balance, you are mistaken. If it had been
then possible, then there is no more urgent occasion to apply the breaks than it
is now, when this world is being obliged to adopt so certainly universally
ruinous an energy as the atomic energy. And if it is thought that some
precaution or protection will be found against the hazards of atomic energy,
then it is a dream which has no interpretation other than the flames of the
atomic hell, and this point too I will prove to you scientifically. But see how
helplessly this mankind is now caught. To ban atomic energy means the cessation
of all industrial activity, for other sources of energy are exhausting, and to
adopt it means inevitable and universal atomic ruin of this entire world. That
this Baconian progress is unproportional to the basic design of creation is
proved by the fact, that it has devoured up all the resources of this earth in
unproportionally greater amounts and with unproportional rapidity, so that it
has obliged this helpless mankind now to adopt atomic energy willy-nilly. In
normal, pre-modern circumstances these resources could have sufficed for
millions of years. And do you suppose any religion can allow this sort of
progress, that will gradually expel religion from man's mind. That religion
which is willing to sign its own warrants of exile could only allow this kind of
progress or affect a compromise with it. Either this progress therefore or
religion. But the logical and scientific end of this progress is the universal
atomic conflagration. Bacon was a man whose heart was eaten up with the love of
wealth. His philosophy is only the echo. Read his history by Macaulay.
(c) The doctrine of man's dominion over
nature as man's destiny has inspired man with pride. Man has set himself as a
God in this world against God, with the goal of self-sufficiency in view, and
with ever-decreasing dependence on God and ever-increasing dependence on
Science.
This mankind has as a result of this
modern progress been transformed, not into natural saints as Bacon had thought
but into clouds of locusts constantly moving onward, and devouring up all that
came in their way, and tending toward the region of atomic germicide to be
sprayed with, to final extinction, greed, selfishness, slander, mistrust is the
rule ever-increasing. Frustration, anarchy, and disappointment is the result of
Baconian progress. Charity, humility, brotherhood, and humanity is fast
dwindling. The end now appears nigh at hand.
(d) The Baconian doctrine of man's
dominion over nature appears after some success with steam and electricity to be
stuck up in the field of atomic science. This field has appeared as beyond man's
ken and power. Man appears but a tiny dwarf against this giant atumbumb and will
certainly be consumed by the giant's fiery breath. This I say on sure knowledge
of science. The doctrine of the research of science evidently has fallen as the
liability of science in the field of atomic phenomenon. The idea of material
advantage for mankind in general, and the consequent view of self-sufficiency
too has been digested by man's infinite stomach for more. The notion of more
production has taken to the principle of fission chain reaction with more
consumption. The signs are that in an atmosphere of ever-dwindling natural
resources and ever-intensifying appetite, this mankind will eventually turn
cannibal falling on each other like hungry wolves and tearing each other to
bits. Distressed mankind, disappointed by the accumulative tendencies of
Capitalism etc. and enticed by the apparent sense of equality in Communism might
be enticed to take refuge in Communism, but only to meet yet another
disappointment. No economic system whatsoever could give relief to the people in
the presence of this Baconian progress. And neither religion nor scepticism
could alter the fact that of the logical end of this Baconian progress in the
flames of atomic Hell. And woe upon woe, the knowledge has lost its aim and it
has been reduced merely to the position of an instrument of material gain. Man
has been transformed into wisdomized beast, an earth-devouring worm in fever.
