1st Chemical and Mechanical Laboratory in Valley Soan, Sakaser, Khoshab

1st Chemical and Mechanical Laboratory was installed in Valley Soan Sakaser by Muhammad Yousuf of Village Khabekki in 1956. Muhammad Yousuf went to Iraq in 1946 at the end of the War. When he returned back to Pakistan, he applied for permission from Directorate of Industries, Pakistan to install a Cement Factory in Valley Soan Sakaser Khoshab. Muhammad Yousuf successfully completed the process of cement making and brick making. He made the kiln of choona. Raw material and labor was easily available in the valley. He wanted to extend this series of cement making in Jhelum, Chakwal, Khoshab, and Mianwali and around Pothohar. The result of intensity of Cement was higher than other cement factories. Although this was a memorable event but unfortunately he was not allowed to do this. Perhaps he was unfortunate or the people of this area were. He had spent thousand rupees on this process himself but to continue this process he was not given any help from Government or any private sector of Pakistan. There was committed a grudge with him and it was thought that if this series of factories proves successful, the other cement factories will be affected. So this was stopped. This Mohammad Yousuf sold all the material of this factory and began to write: {{Mind of the Quran}}. He left Valley Soan sakaser and went to Lahore and was employed in Auqaf Department Lahore. Later he wrote fourteen volumes on Surah Al-Homaza of Quran. He wrote many books on poetry. Now he is named as Allama Muhammad Yousuf Gabriel and in 2006 he left this life and the people of Nawababad Wah cantt have made his mazar in the memory of his good events and due to spiritual uplift.
