Gentlemen, I have not the heart to tell the Muslim nation, that their endeavors in the material progress on the modern lines were wrong and most Un-Islamic; although I know that they are in the wrong their real role was not the adaptation of the modern evil, but rather their role was to fight it out & uproot it from the world of God but this modern evil is not only powerful it also is fiendishly misleading, and I see the entire Muslim nation besieged by such forces as could not be averted without the destructive armament. Yet if there was ample faith amongst the Muslim people, I could stand up to them bareheaded, and decry their modern activities. But faith they have little, and it would let a fact surprisingly self-contradictory if I say in the same breath; that the faith they have in abundance, I say the faith they have in abundance, but the misleading, power if the modern fiend is so very great, that their faith has been super imposed by it and the confusion exists in such exuberance that ever thing is blurred. Indeed to kill this modern fiend this antichrist is the role of Christ himself.
And when I sad with a very learned and very sincere Muslim I exploded my views about science upon his mind; with so sudden an abruptness, that he almost cried out; “Do you give death to the nation? His words pierced into my heart like a sharp arrow but considering his agony. I set on explaining to him till his altitude softened; and he seemed much gratified; Although if it assumed a direct line, the answer might have been, “certainly certainly one death is preferable to two deaths; for if the Muslim nation went blindly on the path of scientific progress; without ever wanting to know the true nature of the modern science they might be the receipience of two deaths; one the spiritual death of the other the material death. But perhaps I shall have to assume the character of the jesting Pilate through the camps of Islamic world and march on to the west, to explain to them my views; and tell them the truth about the Koran; and intimate them with the fact; that if they did incline towards the Koran an condition that that book concerted to their scientific progress, then I am much sorry to say, on the authority of the Koran itself, that their nation was misguided there is no Koran ever reveal to a Prophet, which did consent to this Modern Science guided matching ridden, all pervading Unbelieving communistic or comenastic materialism; but rather the Koran stands in greatest opposition to it; and this is a truths nothing but the truth, the whole truth, and the world shall in due course shall see with as certainty as the certainty &of the resurrection. Am I not then a tortured man to stand up to the whole vast world, against their wish, single handed, Unarmed, Powerless. Yet powerless and deserters I am rut, I feel a power in my heart, equal to this whole universe, for I see the truth on my side, and a clear conscience, apologetic and begging for your toleration, mercy and good will. By the Lord of chirst and the lord of the Muhammad the truthful author of the glorious Koran, I have nothing on my mind, except your wellbeing, well-meaning friend I assure you, that all these your factories and buildings and bridges could come to enough in a time less than the twinkling of an eye, you even would not be given a chance to wonders at the all running incident such things have happened and can shall happen, and no degree of pascimistic attitude could check them, when they happen to come. And know that despite your rationalisms if judged from the Konaric sight, you are no better than any people who in the past ages had received the annihilating chastisement due to their misdeeds. Though your strategy being of a nature more subtle, your punishment also would assume a subtle for in correspondence with your sublety.
A very popular group of interpreters of the holy Koran amidst the Muslim people these days are striving hard to the world on the authority of the Koran its self that there exists not the least disparity between the Koran and the Modern science; and that the modern materialism is the very essence of the Koran’s teachings, & that the contemplation of the works of the creator as has been laid great stress upon the fact, exactly in line with that which the Modern Science is doing in this respect and that the Muslims of the earlier times erred and ignored this oft repeated appeal of the Koran regarding the conntenplation of the works of God in the manner of the Modern Science, But the people of the west realized it and took to it and thus followed the exact version of the Koran, and so on forth; this a misleading altitude of a misguided people who misunderstand the Islamic latitude which is allowed in the conditional utility of all good things that the contemplation of the works of God as is exhorted by the Koran is meant in the words of the Koran itself to recognize the existence of the creator and the unity of the peerless God, and the certainty of the hour of resurrection, and nut at all the material utility of the works of God at the expense of faith. The science guided contemplation as you can see for yourself, takes the opposite way, for we see that with every new discovery and with every new invention, the science guided world is moving further away from God, from faith and the certainty of resurrection, and although there are logical consequences to that effect; no logical discussion is needed when the truth of our statement and the systematic degeneration could with our own eyes be seen know therefore that if on the one hand the Islamic life is not the life of a Christian hermit at on the other hand certainly not the life of an unbelieving materialist. Yet another a most formidable fact which I have to explode before you is that with that materialism as it is today does exist; the Islamic way of life is an utter impossibility; no Muslim shall ever be able to achieve the impossible, the possibility of minding the modern materialism into Islam, or moulding Islam into the modern materialism. You may like it or not, yet it is truth nothing but the truth and the whole truth and I say this on the knowledge of the modern science guided materialism and the Islamic way of life.
But did you notice anything extraordinary in those words which I have quoted, viz, do you want to give death to the nation do you feel the tone of agony in these words; these are the words which tell the truth of a Muslim heart, a heart which is tortured by the coercive necessity of the modern progress when the inner heart of a Muslim does abhor it; and thus it is that this little seemingly in significant incident leads to indicate some remarkably important development at same future date. We of present generation may or may not see, but someone shall someday shall certainly see.
